Amanda Lee, is a fantastic cover of an opening near and dear to anime fans around the globe, myself included!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Merry-Go-Round of Life" by Joe Hisaishi, is a song very near and dear to my heart. Back when I was in middle school, well over 15 years ago, I saw my first Studio Ghibli film, and while the plot, characters, setting, and beautiful art left one heck of an impression on me, this leitmotif has been permanently ingrained into my mind and soul. It is for these reasons and more I am very much excited to be seeing Howl's Moving Castle again tomorrow after all these years!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "At Dusk, I Will Think of You..." by Yoko Shimomura, is a song from a game near and dear to my heart, and like many songs originating from Kingdom Hearts, I have quite the habit of thinking about around this time of year. Regardless, I hope you all enjoy it!

There have been many version of this over the years, so I'm wondering which one is everyone's personal favorite. Feel free to share!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Lead Your Partner" from Sing a Bit of Harmony, is a really fun song from a movie that deserves SO much more attention! Seriously, this film is so darn wholesome, with great characters and growth, charming visuals, delightful humor, and quite possibly the only anime musical film out there. It's one of my favorite films in recent years, and I encourage you all to check it out and spread the word!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Cabin Fever" from Muppets Treasure Island, is a delightful number that I meant to share last week...And had I seen the movie it's from earlier, I would have shared it about 3 years ago. Even so, there are days where this is still applicable to me, so it goes to show that this truly is a timeless classic! Enjoy, everyone!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Destiny Islands" from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, is one I've had on my mind a LOT lately. It's also probably not the version of this song most people think of when it comes to this franchise, but it's probably the one most dear to me. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes, was used during the finale of a fantastic movie I saw for the first time last night, one with fantastic dancing as well as an unexpected yet very welcome key plot point that is quite relevant to current events. I'm so glad I watched Dirty Dancing!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town" as performed by We.B & Billy Kametz, is an English coverone I share in honor of a talented voice actor who also just seemed like as nice a guy as many of his characters such as Joskue Higashikata from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (specifically Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable), but sadly passed away recently at age 35 due to stage 4 colon cancer. Thank you so much for all that you have done. Shine On, You Crazy Diamond!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Beds Are Burning" by Midnight Oil, is one I've just had on my mind a lot lately for some reason. I can't really put my finger on why, though I do have a few theories as to why. Regardless, I hope you're able to get something out of this song as I have myself.

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Number One" by Shiro Sagisu & Hazel Fernandes, was selected in honor of a dear friend of mine, whose birthday happens to be today. The song in question is an incredible piece regularly used throughout a show the two of us enjoyed back in the day. Hope this brings back the same fond memories for you all that it does for me!

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Final Frontier" by Jonathan Young, is in a lot of ways typical of the sort of songs I like sharing: fantastic music accompanied by great animation. But it's also probably a lot more somber than my usual selection. Even so, for a variety of reasons, from the general principal behind the class assignment that inspired this whole schtick to a certain holiday that took place last week, I felt it was time I shared this powerful piece. I hope you all get as much out of it as I have.

This week's Tune for Tuesday, "Lost in Paradise" as performed by Sam Luff, is a fantastic cover that I've selected in honor of several things: the fantastic anime whose first season I recently completed and whose first film I intend to see in theaters next week, the triumphant return of the band responsible for the original song, and the utter swagger of this glorious jam! I WISH I had this kind of drip!
